Government & Law Enforcement Request Policy
Last updated: 25 June 2026
[Legal Entity Name] ("we", "us") operates Influnex. This policy explains how we respond when a public authority — police, a government agency, a court, or a regulator — asks us to disclose our users' personal data, including data we receive from Meta (Instagram and Facebook).
Our commitment
We disclose user personal data to authorities only when we are legally required to, and only to the minimum extent necessary. We do not give authorities bulk access, standing access, or access credentials/tokens.
Valid legal process required
We require a valid, binding legal instrument from an authority with proper jurisdiction (for us, primarily under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other applicable law). We do not act on informal or unverified requests.
Legality review
Before any disclosure, we review each request for validity — the right authority, the right legal instrument, the right jurisdiction, and a lawful purpose. Requests that fail this review are refused.
Challenging improper requests
Where a request is unlawful, overbroad, vague, or improperly served, we push back — seeking to narrow or clarify it, or formally challenging it through legal counsel — before disclosing anything.
Data minimization
If disclosure is legally required, we provide only the specific data the order compels, for only the named users and time period. Nothing more.
Notifying affected users
Where we are not legally prohibited from doing so, we notify affected users before or promptly after disclosing their data.
Recordkeeping
We document every request we receive, our legality assessment, whether we challenged it, and exactly what (if anything) we disclosed.
